About this speaker

Professor Meir Lotan M.Sc.PT., Ph.D., is a physiotherapist working as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Physical Therapy, Faculty of Health Sciences, Ariel University, Ariel, Israel.

He has been a member of the Israeli National Rett Syndrome Evaluation Team for the past 28 years. He has a special interest in physiotherapy for people with an intellectual disability and/or autism, and the benefits of snoezelen and physical activity for these populations, with a particular emphasis on individuals with Rett syndrome.

During the last three decades, Meir has evaluated over 600 individuals with Rett syndrome around the globe.
