About this Talk

THIS DISCUSSION GROUP SESSION HAS NOW ENDED AND WAS NOT RECORDED. PLEASE JOIN US FOR NEXT MONTH'S SESSION - GO TO THE DISCUSSION GROUPS TAB TO SEE THE SCHEDULE FOR FURTHER SESSIONS.

Join us for the second Discussion Group of 2021.

Did you join us for the first session and enjoyed it so much you can't wait to come back? Or, did you miss the first session and are curious to find out what our new Discussion Groups are like? No problem. Everyone is welcome to join us for the second session.

In this session we will be focussing on three conference talks from the AAC in Schools category: (1) the talk given by Caroline Brown, Natalie Fry and Michelle Mann from the Richard Cloudesley School, (2) the talk by Eloise Wright, and (3) the talk by Callie Ward.

Whether you are a parent or carer with a child already in a special education or mainstream setting, are thinking ahead to what sort of educational setting you might want for your child, or you are a teacher/teaching assistant, therapist, or other professional with questions about using AAC to support a child in a special education or mainstream setting, the talks and the Discussion Group will be relevant for you. Watch the talks in advance (if you haven't already) then come along and join in the conversation. Tell us what the key take-home messages from any of these talks were for you and what your questions are now. Share your experiences with us and with other families.

To watch any of these talks again, click on the relevant Speakers on the Homepage or click on the Replays tab and select the relevant talks from 17th November 2020.
